Cleverage JKB Fletcher
Cleverage, affectionately known as 'Superboobs' Is the corner stone painting of 'Dirty Faces'. Even though it was the third in the series to be painted it resembles the idea behind the works with such an impact it's often the first to mind when reflecting on the 'Dirty Faces' collection. The work was created for a solo show at FortyFive Downstairs in 2011, entitled 'Angels with Dirty Faces. Superheros are the heart of the American culture they are the sentuality of our minds and imaginations. Placing the Superman sign on the most sensual part of the woman's body just enforces that. entrepreneurs and social experts. We are all photographers, writers and bloggers. More and more of us are learning about each
other across the globe and want to travel, eat exotic foods and learn from each
other’s cultures. Some of us are even mixing interracially with each other. We
are mixing old ideas with new ones and are more conscious of each other and our
planet. We document our observations and we aren't afraid to express ourselves. There is a lack of animosity that existed in our youth of the past. But
we are still fighting for change and improvements in our world. Not all of us
are on board with this yet but as our world keeps changing we will soon be on
the same page.
